I'm really enjoying being creative lately, even if it is only digitally. 

The hard part is finding a place to stop, as it is so easy to keep adding and editing.

I took a better picture of the original lady with pink doodle and was going to recreate it.  I was just playing around with it in the Chrome extension Pic Monkey and kind of got carried away.  What fun!

Do you call them pig tails or pony tails? Or something else entirely? 

If you think about it, a pony tail or a pig tail would be singular and in the back, wouldn't it?

I don't know where this one came from. I was just trying to draw a ribbon banner at first, and then the word fancy popped in my head, started drawing a girl, and she ended up looking a bit German. ha.

It was a Twilight Zone New Year's Marathon

Even though we don't have the SyFy channel (since we no longer have cable, which I don't even miss!) my husband still enjoys ringing in the New Year with the Twilight Zone Marathon. So, we just watch the entire series on Netflix.

When I saw this two-headed alien pop up on screen in the the episode, "Mr. Dingle, The Strong", I laughed so hard. I just had to draw them.

Happy New Year 2014

Happy New Year to you. I never make resolutions anymore, but sometimes in the back of my mind I might. I am kind of more laid back in my approach to the coming years. I just want to be happy, and for my family and friends to be happy. I'm pretty easy to please in that regard. 

Ok, that's not all true. I'd like to craft more, clean more, garden more, and lose a ton of weight. There. We'll see how it goes. 

I hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2014, and that we can all stick to our resolutions. 

Mr. Magnum Is A Grumpy Old Dog

Mr. Magnum is Jason's dog, and he is very old and grumpy.
He doesn't like to be touched.
He still makes us laugh and I think he is going to live forever.
